In the operation and control of die-casting machines, the selection of pressure gauges must be based on the pressure characteristics, accuracy requirements and working conditions of core processes such as mold clamping, injection, pressure holding and the hydraulic system. There is no single universal pressure gauge; instead, a dedicated type must be matched to specific functional modules. Die-casting machines generate strong vibration and pressure pulsation during operation, so vibration-resistant pressure gauges are required for accurate pressure measurement.

Working Principle

Based on a standard pressure gauge, the vibration-resistant type is filled with damping fluid (usually silicone oil or glycerin) and equipped with a buffer mechanism. The damping fluid absorbs mechanical vibration energy, reduces the influence of medium pressure pulsation, and dampens pointer oscillation, ensuring stable and clear readings.

Selection Criteria

  • Damping fluid selection:

    Silicone oil offers a wide temperature range of -40℃ to 200℃, ideal for die-casting machines operating in high-temperature or extremely cold environments.

  • Range & accuracy:
